Author Chris Bohjalian has published 20+ novels since 1988. His novel Midwives was chosen by Oprah in 1998 for her book club and launched his writings to bestseller status. Other well-known books of his include The Sandcastle Girls, The Guest Room, and The Flight Attendant. His most recent book, Hour of the Witch, came out this year and relates the story of a woman in 1662 who is trying to escape marriage to a cruel man and ends up being accused of witchcraft.
