Week Calendar

Babies and Books focuses on your child's early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, stories, and play during this storytime. Each session will conclude with a playtime, allowing children and adults time to interact with each other.

Join us for books, songs, and a craft every Wednesday morning. For ages two to five and their families 

Visit the library and read a story to one of the sweet pups from Therapy Dogs International.

Nothing to do on your afternoon off school?  No problem.  Join us at the library as we watch Paddington 2 on the big screen.  Popcorn will be served.  

Join us each month as we make a different type of slime!  Will it be edible, glow in the dark, rainbow or some other type?  Come find out.  

What will we make today? Come to the library and find out! All our projects will be something you can take home and involve science, technology, engineering, art, or math.

Chicago’s first certified KonMari Tidying Consultant, Kristyn Ivey of For the Love of Tidy, will share home organization tips that focus on what you keep (does it “spark joy?”), rather than what or how much you discard.
