Join us for a day of education and ceremony.
In the library at 10 a.m. : a showing of "Wind River," a 2016 film about the hunt for the killer of a Native girl on a remote reservation. Starring Jeremy Renner. Everyone who attends the film showing will enjoy a fry bread snack.
In Debate Square (weather allowing), 12:45 p.m.-1:15 p.m. Flute music. At 1 p.m. MMIW Ceremony begins which includes a blessing, a pipe ceremony, drumming, singing, a healing jingle dress dance, and the Red Dress Ceremony. (If raining, event will be in the library.)
