Description

Come to the first of Momentum Art Guild's painting workshops. From 10a - 12p watch a movie about a young peasant maid who inspired the greatest work of painter Johannes Vermeer (contact Dianne Ludwig for the movie title.) Break for lunch from 12p -1p. Then do your own painting in the Baroque style, with an emphasis of depicting light on the canvas, of the Dutch Masters with advice and guidance from Larry McCoy from 1p - 3p. What better way to pass a Saturday in dark and dreary February?

Lunch is not provided (bring your own or visit the library's cafe), but all other supplies are. Program is FREE. Registration is required.
